20 Squadron Jaguars: Home / In tribute to....

Mike Scouse Brown

Back

One of the hardest parts of tracking down old colleagues and friends, is finding out that they are no longer with us. Only recently, finding out that David Cousins is no longer with us and only passed away on the 18 September 2016.

Now, I find out that Mike Scouse Brown has recently departed this world. Those who knew of Mike, knew him as a top bloke. Someone who will now be dearly missed by family and friends.

Mike was at Bruggen between 1977 - 1980.

Mike will be burried at 11:30, on the 22 December 2016 in Liverpool. His coffin will display his service number and a 20 Sqn emblem as part of his floral tribute.

Rest in peace old friend!

A Word From Duncan Gray

Michael " Scouse " Brown was buried in liverpool today the 22nd of Dec 2016.He suffered a terrible fall five months ago and never really recovered consciousness. He was a FLM on Jaguars based at Lossiemouth and Bruggen.1976 to 1980. He was one of the best friends you could wish for and a typical scouser. He was quick witted and funny. He always had time for people and they all fell under his spell.Lots of ex 20 sqd guys remember him with great fondness. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.RIP Scouse.

From Dave Barbierato

A tribute to an Old Friend and 'Brother in Arms'  Never forgotten Scouse, we will always remember your insane sense of humour, always a smile at the worst of times.  Your time is done now my friend  RIP Scouse.  It was a pleasure to have known you and shared good times with you, so this is a fitting tribute to a great guy.
